Kentland Plant Featured in Plastics Decorating Magazine CPX Inc. was formed in 1994 with the merger of S&S Plastics of Kentland, IN, and ComPonX of North Vernon, IN.   The locals still refer to the plants in Kentland as S and S Plastics.  CPX has been noted for numerous innovations over the past few years and is the largest employer in Newton County and has two plants in Kentland.  Read more on their success online....

Kentland Water and Drainage Infrastructure Improvements The Town of Kentland is finishing up a summer/fall long project that includes replacing 60 fire hydrants and adding 7 more in new locations. We have also added over a mile and a quarter of new waterlines to replace deteriorating old lines. Our storm water tiling also got a much needed facelift as we replaced approximately a half mile of old slow lines where flooding streets were a constant problem after heavy rains.  Kentland has added a new water tower...
